Job Description

The Verification Specialist position is responsible for the intake and resolution of inbound Animal Health Entity requests submitted on behalf of the AHI EDI Special Project participants.  The verification specialist will be responsible for establishing new Animal Health Number and/or updating existing Animal Health Number by verifying name and address demographics via web resources and/or phone validation of end entity.

Position Accountabilities

  • Provides a high level of customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Responsible for operational support activities related to AHN request processing, web and phone verification.
  • Follow up communications/interaction with AHI Helpdesk team.
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting and documenting daily work performed/completed.
  • Participates in user acceptance testing of new releases and updates as required.
  • Understands AHN policy, procedure, business rules document.  Assist in developing document changes/improvements.
  • Meets established individual goals and performance expectations.

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft products.

Education Level Required

  • High School/GED.

Experience Level Required

  • 1-2 years customer service or call center experience.
