Accounting Clerk Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Process accounts payable and receivable
+ Code and match AP invoices
+ Apply customer payments
+ Research and solve payment discrepancies
+ Make adjustments to accounts as needed
+ Prepare weekly manual deposits
+ Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Accounting Clerk Qualifications:
· Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college; Six months or more related accounting/bookkeeping experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Excellent attention to detail and fast data entry
· Ability to work in a team environment to complete goals, while also working alone on projects.
· Strong MS Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivots) and Accounting ERP experience: QuickBooks and NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft Etc.
