As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be required to process payments and send for approval (including insurance payables), Raise Purchase Orders, match, and batch code invoices, resolve Accounts Payable (A/P) issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. As the Accounts Payable Specialist your duties will include but aren’t limited too;
– Carry out a full-cycle A/P
– Handle administrative and payroll tasks for the AP/Finance Department
– Management of Fixed Assets (Creating/Updating assets, run capitalization process, depreciation, revaluations, asset reporting)
– Handle the customer service needs of internal and international business partners
– Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
– Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies
– Process payments and send for approval (including insurance payables)
– Monitor reports (cash position for payments etc.)
– Validate, record, and send checks, including expediting special handling
– Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
– Carry out additional tasks as assigned

Requirements
The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist will have:
– Associates of Arts or Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
– 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable (A/P) role preferred
– Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
– Expertise in SAP
– Detailed and have the ability work independently
– Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
– Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
