The Digital Commerce B2B Technical Architect is a critical role in building out the overall digital commerce team at one of our main clients at Robert Hald. This role will be responsible for and own the overall application architecture for Experience Cloud and Commerce Cloud, Integrations and the connectivity to our Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Field Service Lighting capabilities. This role will understand the entire org architecture, design, integration, data model, platform limits, and license model, in order to best architect a future solution focused on speed, agility, quality, performance and an incredible customer experience. This role will be able to understand the business needs and connect the technology to unlock the most business value. This position will work with the project team to understand all requirements and support in delivering best practices, while focusing on our core principles. Candidate should be able to understand Salesforce technology and roadmap and work well with partners.

General IT Skills
+ A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on application architecture experience
+ A minimum of 3+ years experience with digital commerce preferred
+ A minimum of 5+ years as a Salesforce technical expert (development, integration, proven technology background)
+ Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Experience Cloud expertise; contributing to innovative projects and forward thinking initiatives in the organization
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
+ Willingness to learn new technologies and deploy them quickly
+ Background with architecture concepts (integration styles, architecture styles, patterns, etc)
+ Understanding of key Salesforce architectural concepts and how they influence design
+ Salesforce certifications preferred
+ Good understanding of all master data components required for Sales, Service, Commerce and Experience clouds and their integration to backend systems
+ Project experience in a diverse environment required
+ Proven ability to deliver quality technology projects on time in a fast paced environment
+ Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for technology and or business audiences (requirements documents/specifications, process flows).
+ Back-log management tools (“Microfocus Octane”, Azure DevOps, etc).
+ Ability to ask questions, clarify requirements, and break complex requirements into smaller work modules.
+ Detailed knowledge about existing or future solution in Sales, Merchandising, Digital Commerce, or other relevant fields
+ Strong Microsoft Application suite knowledge
+ Exposure to SAP in general in a previous role is a major plus
+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a computer, business or technology discipline, or equivalent applicable experience
+ Preferred: BA/BS degree in Computer science, graduate studies a plus
Salesforce certification or equivalent experience
