Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting function for the organization with a special focus on best practices in SaaS Software businesses.

• Define and implement procedures and internal controls for all major financial accounting functions.

• Oversee the monthly/quarterly/yearly close process, including preparation and/or review of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and various financial analyses for domestic and foreign entities to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful reporting.

• Manage and deliver federal, state, and local tax reporting, in consultation with an external accounting firm.

• Own the annual audit process.

• Support the research, company adoption, and documentation of emerging accounting standards.

• Proactively identify and implement process improvements.

• Provide technical accounting subject matter expertise on the treatment of accounting transactions and related financial reporting requirements.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 7+ years of accounting experience within a SaaS or similar industry company.

• Excellent management experience coaching and mentoring staff in a hybrid working environment.

• Knowledge and understanding of US-GAAP and IFRS.

• Experience with large ERP systems (SAP preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

• Advanced skills in Excel and other business applications.

• Outstanding analytical and research skills with strong attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal, management, and leadership skills.

• Ability to handle multiple requests by prioritizing and organizing work amongst the team and/or setting and agreeing to appropriate deadlines.

• Excellent time management.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
