Robert Half is working with a rapidly expanding company in the Security industry, looking to hire a Help Desk Analyst to support local and field users. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be a creative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. Due to this Help Desk Analyst role having a large amount of visibility within the company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the department and organization. This Help Desk Analyst role is based in the Green, Ohio area and is a long-term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

– Pinpoint recurring technical issues and present solutions to address the root of the problems

– Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues

– Correspond and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups

– Contribute IT support for productivity software, operating systems, and a variety of other applications used internally

Requirements – Adeptness in hardware & software installation

– Demonstrated knowledge of Hardware and Software

– Service Desk Tickets experience highly preferred

– Foundational knowledge in Hardware Troubleshooting

– Troubleshoot Hardware experience highly desired

– Active Directory experience desired

– Basic Troubleshooting experience

– Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10

– Background working with Ticketing System

– Practical knowledge of Problem Tickets

– General familiarity with Phone Etiquette

– Good understanding of Service Desk Tickets

– Earlier work involving Support Tickets

– Practical knowledge in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

– Background in user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment

– Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions

– Comprehension of basic networking concepts

– 1+ years of prior experience

– Good understanding of IT support ticketing systems
