Robert Half is looking for a Help Desk Technician I in Long Beach, California. The Help Desk Technician I will provide user support and customer service on company supported hardware, applications, and platforms. Requirements

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. This position will be 100% onsite and will require troubleshooting ability and strong customer service and communication.

2. Will support 200-300 users, track tickets in JIRA (may switch to ServiceNow next year), perform remote/deskside troubleshooting tasks, and will have the ability to assist with backend systems/network infrastructure support.

3. Will provision accounts in Active Directory, provide access/connectivity support to users, administer O365 applications, etc.

4. Will deploy hardware, desktop peripherals, and other assets/equipment for users.

5. Respond to tickets in a timely manner, document processes and resolutions, and assist with other initiatives for the department.

6. Install and update applications as needed, collaborate with team members and supervisors, and monitor user issues for ongoing support.

Top Skills:

1. Degree (ideally in IT-related field), and 2+ years of experience in end-user support

2. Experience deploying desktop hardware and software, maintaining connections/access, and troubleshooting various other systems/equipment

3. Experience supporting Microsoft shops and Windows OS

4. Experience provisioning accounts in Active Directory

5. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 support/administration

6. Experience supporting 200+ users is preferred

7. Systems (server monitoring), and network fundamentals are preferred
