Job Description

Description Level 3 Support Technician: This role will be an escalation path for the Service Desk and Level 2 technician. The person in this role will be asked to ensure quality end user support by leading and guiding the Service Desk technicians as well as maintaining routine systems administration tasks. This role includes a blend of support and project activities. Candidates should be willing to occasionally travel via road or air to our terminal locations across the southeast, but will not be expected to travel for more than 4 consecutive business days. This role will need to be onsite in downtown Jacksonville, FL during normal business hours and be available for remote support 24×7 for P1,P2 incident escalation.

Skills & Experience:

Required

• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS administration – self-sufficient level

• Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, and Sharepoint – Administration

• Service Desk leadership & management experience

• Server, network, PC hardware support competency

• Citrix client support and server administration (mostly handled by a vendor)

Preferred

• Azure administration – self-sufficient level

• Cybersecurity competency

• Great Plains support (working with vendor)

• SDWAN network support (working with vendor)

• Tape library management

• Sophos Support

• Network configuration & management (switch management)

• Microsoft SQL query & database management

• Powershell experience – read/troubleshoot/modify/write

• Github & code deployment experience

Ideal (Transportation specific)

• Trimble, TMW Suite support
