This role will oversee the activities associated with our Talent Services, Contractor and Vendor Management Programs.

The Talent Vendor Management program centralizes the management of external Talent vendors to avoid risk, reduce spend, improve efficiency and enhance the quality of vendor relationships and their respective products and/or services. The Talent Vendor Program Manager will supervise, prioritize, and guide the specialists by helping them manage day-to-day vendor relationships and requests. The Manager will serve as the point person for Senior leadership stakeholders and work closely with the specialists. The Manager will oversee Talent and supplier inquiries, track and ensure fulfillment of requests, reporting, and participate in the development and deployment of process efficiencies. The Manager will also take a leadership role to connect, and develop relationships with colleagues in Procurement, OGC, Risk, NOI, Technology, Talent and Finance.

The Contingent Workforce Management program, residing in Talent Acquisition centralizes the management of external contractors and vendors to avoid risk, reduce spend, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of contingent workforce vendor relationships and their respective services. This role will coordinate the shared services support that’s provided to Talent Acquisition, serving as a US point person to collaborate across geographies to deliver services and drive initiatives.

Illustrative Talent Vendor Management Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Work with Talent Vendor Management specialists to manage incoming vendor requests and inquiries from Talent stakeholders and external vendors

+ Collaborate with Talent channels and Business Advisors to define Talent specific vendor strategies

+ Oversee the negotiation, execution of compliance activities and securing agreements for services estimated to be under $300k and partner with Core Procurement to negotiate and secure agreements for services estimated to be over $300k

+ Partner with and advise stakeholders (specialists through partners) on appropriate use of vendors and provide leadership council in various scenarios

+ Partner with internal infrastructure groups (Procurement, OGC, Risk and IT) to ensure compliance while fulfilling incoming requests

+ Manage and monitor vendor performance using firm standard reporting tools

+ Lead RFI/RFP activities in partnership with Procurement

+ Oversee activities of aligned India resources to support the processing of Talent vendor requests

+ Prepare necessary communications to be leveraged both internally and externally

+ Oversee annual relationship meetings with strategic vendors and Talent stakeholders to discuss past performance and future goals with an emphasis on building a long-term partnership

+ Hold live vendor meetings as needed to enhance partnerships and gain competitive intelligence. Guide the specialists leading up to the Strategic Relationship Meetings, defining the scope/objectives, collecting information, analyzing results, and providing recommendations for program changes

+ Define and enhance processes (submission through invoice payment) and identify/maintain a tool that can be used to facilitate the process

+ Review and approve vendor Service Level Agreements and adhere to escalation procedures as appropriate

+ Review and approve internal and external surveys and interpret results to understand program’s successes and areas for improvement

+ Manage the storage of program documentation (i.e. deliverables, program guidelines, contracts, etc.)

+ Maintain DeloitteNet and SharePoint program site to ensure information included is accurate, timely, and necessary

+ Collaborate with India on invoice maintenance, follow protocols, and escalate to leadership as appropriate

+ Monitor spend and metrics to generate reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction on a continuous basis

+ Provide specialists with cross training across programs, ensure an appropriate back up plan and monitor shared mailbox management

+ Collaborate with specialists to identify program enhancements and communication plans

+ Review productivity metrics on a period basis, reviewing trends, and ensure accurate utilization across specialists

Illustrative Contractor Management Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Contingent Workforce Management (CWM) Hiring, Sourcing and Coordination teams to ensure seamless delivery of shared services support for the Contractor Workforce Management program

+ Work in partnership with our India Talent Services Contractor Lifecycle Events and Talent Vendor Management teams on all activities to ensure alignment of priorities and ongoing responsibilities

+ Lead CWM projects by establishing clear objectives and scope, determining the value and impact of projects cross geography. Effectively prioritize projects; build and manage to project plan/timeline; manage the delegation and completion of work; identify project issues and risks and propose mitigation tactics and strategies; and measure the value created and impact made at the completion of the project. During the duration of the projects, keep the leadership/management team apprised of progress, successes and potential road blocks.

+ Design and maintain tools to help assess the team’s ability to meet changing business needs based on volume drivers and team’s productivity

+ Develop compelling, logically structured presentations and deliverables that will be shared at the Talent, Program and TS leadership levels

The team

Talent Services (TS), a channel of the Deloitte Talent organization within the Enabling Areas business, delivers a breadth of Talent services through an innovative and customer-centric shared services model. TS focuses on delivery of both strategic and transactional services, either directly for the Deloitte businesses or in support of the Talent Business Advisors and other Talent Channels. The Contractor and Vendor Management team provides seamless and scalable support to the Contingent Workforce Program and our Talent vendors.


+ Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum of 8 years of Human Resources or related experience preferred

+ Proven ability to manage a team to fulfill requests that exceed stakeholder expectations

+ Ability to work independently and lead efforts on a variety of projects in a high volume, fast paced, and sometimes nebulous environment required

+ Ability to navigate a complex organization

+ Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including presentation expertise

+ Excellent organizational, planning and problem-solving skills

+ Strong listening, analytical, and decision-making skills necessary to resolve vendor issues

+ Consultative and collaborative approach toward colleagues and stakeholders and ability to influence others

+ Excellent program/project management skills with the ability to think both strategically and tactically

+ Understanding of shared services, our Talent Operating Model and our associated services

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and advanced Excel), Fieldglass, SAP, ServiceNow and MS Teams

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $78,570 – $161,330

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
