Derek Kemp with Robert Half is working a permanent opportunity in the Manufacturing industry for a Plant Controller to join a successful company in the East Dallas, Texas area. Our client in East Dallas is looking to hire a Plant Controller/Finance Manager to join their stable team. This is an exciting, rare opportunity to join an organization and become a strategic partner in the leadership of one of their most prestigious and awarded facilities. • Plant Controller position supporting two production lines
• Will sit on a management team of 8 individuals
• Drive financial statement, handle variance analysis and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• This is an in-plant role – open to flexible arrangements as needed and work from home, but onsite presence is critical to the plant operations
• Experience with SAP is desired
• The ideal candidate should be very strategic-minded and be able to develop and support a task list that the team can effectively execute
• Experience with BOM maintenance, cost rolls, etc. is a big plus
• Prepare reports that summarize and forecast plant business activity and financial position in a manufacturing expense organization
• Directs preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification
• Manage the Finance Department including on-site staff and off-shore team that handles transactional work
• Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team in developing the plant’s strategic direction, establishing priorities and allocating resources

+ Supervising/ Managing a Team
+ CPA preferred
