Work you’ll do

You along with dynamic colleagues will help companies develop, implement, and operationalize multi-channel customer interaction capabilities for both external and internal customer-facing operations. As a Manager, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement. You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. You will have the opportunity to lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.

Role Description:

+ Lead Business Process design workshops with business clients helping them transform and converge legacy processes to new processes

+ Liaison with program sponsors on process readiness and risks around proposed processes

+ Collaborate with multiple client teams to make decisions on process convergence and design

+ Collaborate and support multiple technology vendors with requirements/user story development for new processes

+ Support Architecture and Test teams to design and validate new processes using business viewpoint

+ Develop functional requirements or user stories from to-be processes

+ Maintain traceability of processes to requirements and design deliverables

+ Provide recommendations with functional solution alternatives

+ Evaluate data discrepancies against desired requirements

+ Lead and mentor team to run process workshops and support technology partners with functional expertise

+ Manage and assign tasks to team members and report on a weekly basis



+ 8+ years of relevant functional or industry experience with electric utilities, including experience with DER/Load Forecasting solutions.

+ 8+ years of process or solution functional experience

+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ Ability to travel up to 50%


+ An advanced degree

+ Experience in working with electric distribution network model

+ Experience with utility network model and engineering analysis

+ Experience with utility real-time solutions (DERMS, ADMS, OMS, DMS, D-SCADA, GIS, and/or EMS)

+ Experience in analytics involving SCADA, AMI, Weather and similar time series data

+ Strong understanding of load and generation profile data and processes

+ Strong experience in running business process design workshops with business and IT clients

+ Prior experience in time series data cleansing and forecasting

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills

+ Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement

+ Tools including- Power BI, MS Office (including Project and Visio)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $168,000 to $311,000.
