+ Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or via email
+ Perform onsite and remote technical support
+ Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
+ Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
+ Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
+ Provide accurate information on IT products or services
+ Document events and problems and their resolution in the ticketing system
+ Follow-up and update customer status and information
+ Handle end-user requests for hardware and software for supported clients in the environment.
+ Track and maintain site documentation, configurations, and maintenance. Complete special assignments and project work as needed.
+ Interface with third-party vendors to resolve certain hardware/software problems
+ Provision, deploy and recover hardware asset and workstations
+ Manage IT assets and inventory
+ Miscellaneous IT tasks and duties
+ The ideal candidate has ITIL certification
+ Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
+ Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
+ Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
+ Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
+ Skilled in supporting Windows 10 clients in a domain environment
+ Troubleshoot experience
+ Networking experience
+ Experience with VPN Technologies
+ Good working knowledge of the Office 365 suite of applications (Outlook, Work, Excel, etc.)
+ Microsoft Technologies experience
+ In this position, the candidate will be tasked with analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction
+ Applicants with technical skills to serve as escalation point for handling incidents and service requests related to application, operating system and other service related problems will be preferred
+ 3 – 4 years of experience supporting desktop/server operating systems and technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, Exchange and VMware
+ Candidates who have a combination of superior customer service skills and technical aptitude will be preferred
+ Background in one or more programming or scripting language
+ Bachelor’s Degree preferred
