What you’ll do

As a professional in Deloitte’s Tax Management Consulting (TMC) team, you will be a part of a team that provides an integrated approach to technology implementations, automation, data wrangling, managed legal services and analytics that help tax and legal departments maximize the strategic value to the organization. You will deliver technical services for companies that streamline their process and increase efficiency; leveraging, integrating with numerous applications, and creating custom solutions.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will contribute to the growth and success of Deloitte Tax LLP in a variety of ways, including:

+ Client Management: Participate in the day-to-day interactions and technical requirements with appropriate global client technical teams related to technical integrations or custom solutionsas well as communicate with functional teams.

+ Delivery: Work within a team that is responsible for the scope for an engagement for platform integrations and custom solutions.

+ Participate in implementation and delivery of the solution features, bug fixes and test scripts.

+ Delivery of assigned work in terms of committed date, scope, and quality

+ Solutions: Work within a team to identify, design and leverage technology and innovative solutions to customize and to integrate the legal applications with other client applications to address the client’s Participate in solving complex business problems and implementing solution capabilities that are secure, scalable, robust, and easy to implement and maintain

+ Support: Participate in training activities around day-to-day activities, related to processes and various technologies and their integration or customization capabilities or situational changes.

+ Cross Functional Teaming: Understand and articulate the broader practice and Deloitte overall. Maintain relationships and serve clients holistically.

+ Eminence: Lean and grow in aspects of cutting-edge technology trends and use them to solve emerging problems. Participate in technical initiatives towards planned outcomes.



+ 1+ Experience on the Microsoft technology stack (ASP.NET MVC 3.5 / 4.0 / 4.5, Web API, SQL Server).

+ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related area

+ Experience or knowledge of Client-side scripting – JavaScript and JQuery, Kendo.

+ One of the following Accreditations attained, in process, or willing/able to attain:

+ A relevant vendor certification for any of the technologies listed

+ PMP (Project Management Certification)

+ Six Sigma (Black Belt, Green Belt)

+ Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office, if qualified to sit for the CPA

+ Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.


+ Advanced Degree in any of the above fields

+ Exposure or familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Oracle Data Integration Services, SAP Data Services and other related or similar technologies,

+ Familiarity of Java and Angular JS is a plus.

+ Certifications with any of the tools mentioned

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,400 to $111,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
