Description Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a role that is a great combination of Senior Accountant level work and Senior Financial Analyst, with FP& A type functions. The Senior Accounting Analyst –
a. Potential involvement in all accounting processes: analysis/entering of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, AR/AP/Inventory processes, monthly close duties, audit schedules, etc.
b. Potential involvement in budgeting process
c. Potential involvement in various financial modeling (cash flow, etc.)
d. Potential involvement in system migration (Epicor to SAP)
e. Support Accounting Manager and/or CFO in other projects as assigned
a. Minimum: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance.
b. 5+/- yrs., with at least some good portion in an accounting role. Financial Analyst experience is a big plus.
c. Manufacturing background preferred, but not required
d. Epicor and/or SAP experience a plus
Skill Set should include:
a. Solid grounding in accounting knowledge
b. ERP savvy – can manipulate systems to produce queries, reporting, journal entries, etc.
c. Deep Excel knowledge (formula functions, pivot tables, data grooming, link management, etc.) for building and maintaining financial models
e. Can work harmoniously with a diverse team, both within Accounting/Finance and across the larger organization
f. Flexible, the department is small and this person has a wide range of opportunities to be involved in a myriad of tasks.

– Strong familiarity with month end closings
– Financial statement preparation experience preferred
– Microsoft Excel – intermediate skills
– Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
– Experience with financial modeling
– BA/BS in Accounting
– Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills
– Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
– 5+ years of overall general accounting experience and financial analysis experience
