My client, a public private partnership of 3 primary stakeholders is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join the organization. The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will report to the CFO and will prepare internal and external monthly reports and play a critical role in preparing and analyzing the budgets and forecasts for the company. Responsibilities includes:

– Ensure that all of the necessary reporting documents are updated and in full compliance per the comprehensive agreement (CA) and loan agreements

– Collect necessary information from department managers to complete internal reporting to shareholders, such as the monthly report to the Board of Directors

– Conduct periodic meetings with managers to analyze the variance of actuals vs budget and to understand the business

– Prepare and update the Company’s financial projections, budget, forecasts, and 5-year plan

– Build analysis reports of information from the accounting system (SAP) and send to the CFO for review

– Team up with the Controller to design and distribute reporting packages, coordinate submissions, consolidation of submissions and performance of sensitivity analysis

– Maintain the reporting calendar under the project agreements, lender agreements and shareholder reporting requirements

– Provide a detailed review of month-end financials and related analysis

– Help prepare quarterly presentations for the CEO and CFO to Committees and Board of Directors

Requirements

+ Bachelors degree in Finance or related are of study, MBA preferred

+ 4+ years of experience with advanced financial analysis, planning and budget controls required

+ Annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, long range planning

+ Variance analysis

+ Superior quantitative skills

+ High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint

+ Familiarity with SAP preferred

+ Must be able to multitask, problem solve, prioritize and implement innovative processes in a fast-paced environment

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
