Robert Half is seeking the next Supply Management Specialist for John Deere in Des Moines, IA!
The team is currently working a hybrid schedule.
Duties for this position include:
-Processing all PO’s within SAP system
-Monitoring PO approvals
-Initiating supplier add/change process
-Resolving invoicing issues
-Initiating basic contracts in contract management tool
-Training stakeholders and suppliers on PO processes and requirement

-Working knowledge of Supply Management processes and principles, specifically sourcing, contracting and negotiations
-Prior experience working in the manufacturing environment and/or ability to learn new processes quickly
-Skills in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
-Must be comfortable with professional communications
-Experience in specific areas of Supply Management / Procurement such as strategic sourcing process, supplier integration, strategic supply management, supplier development, module supply management, scheduling, cost reduction, etc.
-Microsoft Office – particularly Outlook
-Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
-Must be able to multi-task
