The transfer pricing function has grown significantly due to increased tax audits, OECD action items, foreign country disclosure, and complexity in operational transfer pricing processes; and with advancements in cloud technology transfer pricing is now at the forefront of finance technology innovation. What you’ll do

As a professional in Deloitte’s Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) team, you will be a part of a team that provides an integrated approach to operational transfer pricing, transfer pricing documentation automation, intercompany accounting, Country by Country Reporting and advanced analytics that help transfer pricing teams maximize the strategic value to their organization. You will deliver services for companies that streamline their process and increase efficiency leveraging numerous applications.

As a Transfer Pricing Technology Manager, you will contribute to the growth and success of Deloitte Tax LLP in a variety of way, including:

+ Client Management: Manage the day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.

+ Delivery: Work with a team to optimize transfer pricing processes leveraging technology to align transfer pricing software with the clients’ specific requirements and goals.

+ Solutions: Identify, develop and leverage automation and innovative solutions to aid in the efficiency of transfer pricing departments.

+ Support: Provide training and software support around day-to-day activities, transfer pricing guidance or situational changes.

+ Project Management: Manage project management tasks, such as creating workplans, tracking budgeted time to actual hours incurred, writing status reports, and actively participating in status calls.

+ Cross Functional Teaming: Understand and articulate the broader TTC practice and Deloitte overall. Maintain relationships and serve clients holistically.

+ People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; participate in the staffing and retention process.

+ Business Development: Develop and maintain contacts, organize and lead pursuit teams; contribute to business development.



+ 6+ years’ experience with transfer pricing and/or technology solutions

+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related area

+ CPA, Enrolled Agent, or other appropriate certification (either in process or able/willing to obtain)

+ Ability to travel 80%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


+ Advanced Degree such as MST, MAC, or LLM

+ Experience with a Big 4, tax software firm or equivalent

+ Experience with Longview, ONESOURCE, SAP, Oracle, Workiva, and/or transfer pricing solutions

+ Experience with data transformation tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, Pyramid, SQL Server

+ Experience working directly with clients

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130200 to $241800.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
