● Responsibilities:
As a Secure Fabric Data Protection Engineer, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers to
support mission critical cloud data security operations and ensure cloud data in rest and in
motion is secured for confidentiality, integrity and availability. This will require using a variety of
modern technologies and techniques across multiple providers (Thales, Skyhigh, Azure
Information Protection) that span over multiple cloud applications and API integrations
(ServiceNow, Salesforce, WorkDay, GCP, Azure, AWS). The Secure Fabric Data Protection
Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure of security tools and
platforms and remediate issues encountered by the various security and business critical services
to end users associated with the tools.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
○ Configuration and support of data protection security products and technologies
○ Administrate and implement policies/rules on data protection, CASB and encryption
solutions
○ Monitoring security, availability, performance, and reliability of the application and tools
○ Troubleshooting to resolve complex technical issues and adhere to ITIL processes
○ Collaborate with peers and managers to identify areas of service improvements and
participate in work stream activities
○ Collaborating with vendor technical account management and vendor support for service
issues, feature enhancements/updates, verification of significant changes in test
environments and production rollout.
○ Coordinate with system administrators, security architects, developers and others to
design, develop, test, implement, and enhance Out of the box capabilities.
○ Maintain operational documentation detailing technical environment, farm/site
configuration, and support processes.
○ Ensure data backups are captured and perform recovery tests
○ Monitoring application usage trends, system/user reporting
○ Regular review, cleanup, management and configuration of policies and rules.
○ Incident support for any service disruptions, system outages, DR/BC activities with PwC
and vendor support teams
○ Participate in ongoing Security related trainings and upskilling opportunities

● Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

○ 3+ years of experience in Information Security Data Protection, Data Classification,
Encryption Key management, DLP, Reverse proxy and CASB.
○ Knowledge of data risks, insider threat, Shadow IT, date regulations and privacy laws
○ Knowledge of 3rd party web application integrations
○ Experience with DLP rules configuration and deployments
○ Knowledge of log management SIEM platform such as Splunk
○ Proficiency in Cloud platforms such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon Web Services
○ IT and Security Management best practice (ITIL, COBIT, ISO standards)
○ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Desired Certifications / Skills:
○ CC – Certified in Cybersecurity
○ Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
○ ITIL Certification(s)
○ Familiarity with security frameworks, NIST, CIS, PCI DSS
○ Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR
○ Aptitude & willingness to build skills to identify and assess cloud security vulnerabilities
and risks
○ Ability clearly explain security/compliance risks and recommended remediation
○ Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and strong attention to detail
○ Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
