What do we expect?

Must have skills:

 Bachelors/Masters/Computer Science/Equivalent engineering
 Previous Work Experience: 3-7 years (Bachelor Degree holders)
 Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for
automated provisioning and management of infrastructure.
 Strong understanding of version control systems, such as Git, for managing IaC
configurations.
 Extensive hands-on experience with various AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda,
RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
 Ability to architect, deploy, and manage applications on AWS with a focus on scalability,
security, and reliability.
 Familiarity with serverless computing concepts and experience with AWS Lambda for
event-driven architectures.
 Expertise in containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
 Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and ECS for deploying and
managing containerized applications.
 Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like
Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
 Knowledge of best practices for automated testing and deployment strategies.
 Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation of
routine tasks and processes.
 Ability to create custom scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
 Experience with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
stack for real-time visibility into system performance.
 Strong troubleshooting skills using log analysis and monitoring data.
 Deep understanding of AWS security best practices and the ability to implement security
controls.
 Knowledge of compliance standards and the ability to enforce them in the deployment
pipeline
 Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-
functional teams.
 Ability to document processes and configurations clearly.


Nice to have skills:

 Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for
maintaining consistent configurations across servers.
 Understanding of networking principles, including VPC design, subnets, and security
groups.
 Experience in troubleshooting network-related issues in a cloud environment.

 Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including collaboration, automation, and
a culture of continuous improvement.
 AWS certifications, especially AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, would be a plus.
 Relevant certifications from other cloud providers or DevOps-related certifications.
