You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Information Technology Security team assists PwC in designing and creating sustainable security solutions to provide foundational capabilities and operational discipline through a focus on enterprise requirements and prioritisation, Information Technology security architecture, and the software development lifecycle.

Job Summary:
Additional Responsibilities:
Responsible for ongoing administration and support of the Application Performance Management (APM)
application DataDog in a complex production environment. Works closely with clients, support and
implementation teams and peers to understand fairly complex business requirements that drive the
analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
An ideal candidate will be required to troubleshoot and monitor issues that require adept knowledge of
Data dog, development languages and frameworks, cloud infrastructure (Azure Preferred), and
Kubernetes. They will also be able to take their expert technical skillset and mentor other team members
through difficult technical situations.

Job Prerequisites:
● 4 years experience with an Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tool. DataDog is
Preferred.
● 5 years experience as a subject matter expert in IT Infrastructure (administering or implementing
Windows & Linux Servers, network infrastructure, and databases)
● 4 year experience as a subject matter expert in IT Systems (implementing or supporting
applications / quality testing / development using any of the following technologies: .NET, Java,
PHP, Python, Node.js.)
● 4 years experience with an APM tool. DataDog is Preferred.
● Working experience with Kubernetes
● Strong knowledge of documenting technical standards and procedures.
● Working experience in a DevOps environment.
● Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities.
● Genuine interest in improving application performance and developing new skills in this area.
● Willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving environment.
● Able to work independently or as a part of the team.
● Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success on a team doing the
following:
● Responsible for Application Performance Management (APM) related functional analysis,
developing functional specifications, requirements definition, data mapping, function mapping,
setting of configurations, setting of transaction/control mechanisms, module configuration,
prototyping and testing for complex software applications.
● Administers, documents, monitors and/or modifies application instances and
security/authorization set-up in APM tool.
● Provides user support from APM perspective for multiple moderately complex software
applications instrumented in APM tool.
● Performs analysis and judgment outside established protocols.

● Writes standard operating procedures for APM related tasks, like installing software modules,
alerts and responses, reporting and solving incidents, etc.
● Works effectively with co-workers.
● Works effectively with multiple client contacts; initiates interaction to clarify and improve
relationships with clients.
● Takes responsibility for the relationship with a client for a specific application with limited scope
(department, center, single large application).
● Translates broad project scope and goals into detailed work plan with tasks, accountabilities,
dependencies, milestones and deadlines; monitors project plans to ensure progress.
● Balances multiple priorities and responds to day-to-day problems while maintaining progress on
regularly scheduled project work.
● Takes personal responsibility for quality and timeliness of results for projects and tasks.
● Consistently proposes original solutions, proposals, recommendations within the context of a
discrete project or objective.
● Effectively assesses feasibility of solutions in terms of client need and available resources.
● Provides timely status updates to supervisor and client management highlighting potential issues/problems.
