This role will support the M&A business, under the Deals servicing team, mainly focusing on due diligence within Transaction Services. As a key member in the Data Analytics team, you will handle large volume business data from a mergers and acquisitions perspective, in addition to supporting various deals projects, using ETL (extract, transform, load) methodologies. By means of data analytics, you are expected to utilize various data technologies including data visualization, data mining, big data techniques, to identify key merger and acquisition pre-deal risks and issues to help our clients realize their deal value and continuously push their post-deal strategy going forward.

You will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will learn to articulate a compelling and robust investment story by leveraging the latest analytics technology, and applying data analytics to bring a richer understanding of the business value and drive better results on deal objectives. This may also include evaluating the commercial attractiveness of a target business, by quantifying and validating the full upside value potential using data-driven innovations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform data extraction, transformation, modelling, data visualisation, benchmarking, and analysis, for mergers and acquisitions purposes

• Should be advanced students of Accounting, Economics, Finance or similar (typically 1 - 5 years of experience)

• Has an above average GPA + advanced level of English

• Should have aptitude for Excel, Alteryx, Power BI or other related tools for data extraction, manipulation and transformation

• Demonstrates abilities and/or a proven record of success in researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and technical matters

• Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

• Utilizing problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
