Job Description & Summary

Creating business intelligence from data requires an understanding of the business, the data, and the technology used to store and analyse that data. Using our Rapid Business Intelligence Solutions, data visualisation and integrated reporting dashboards, we can deliver agile, highly interactive reporting and analytics that help our clients to more effectively run their business and understand what business questions can be answered and how to unlock the answers.

Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement Informatica workflows, mappings, and transformations.
2. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and
understand business needs.
3. Perform data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity.
4. Develop and maintain documentation for Informatica processes, mappings, and
workflows.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Informatica workflows and ETL processes.
6. Optimize performance of Informatica workflows and processes.
7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
8. Stay up-to-date with Informatica best practices, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as an Informatica Developer or similar role.
3. Strong proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter.
4. Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server,
MySQL).
5. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
6. Familiarity with data modeling and ETL design principles.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
10. Relevant certifications in Informatica or related technologies (optional).
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with Informatica Cloud or other cloud-based ETL tools.
2. Knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
3. Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys.
4. Experience working in Agile development environments.
